Do I need to install additional market data plugins?

No. The skin has built-in independent public market data sources (Tencent qt.gtimg.cn for A/HK/US stocks, Binance 24h data, Frankfurter ECB exchange rates). When offline, all quotes degrade to "--" and the terminal chrome won't crash. After installing dsh-fun-ticker, the ticker tape follows your watchlist; after installing dsh-longbridge, HK/US stock indices read from broker snapshots.

How do I enable it after installation?

Skins are enabled on demand, and only one skin should be active at a time. Use dsh-skin use trading (the scripts/dsh-skin helper script in the repo) to switch. Remove that line and the corresponding package to return to the default appearance.
