Key points
- One workbench across agent engines — use Codex, DeepSeek Harness, OpenCode, and future runtimes without rebuilding the project experience around each engine.
- One editable production loop — move from code to documents, websites, presentations, design, and video while keeping text, images, layouts, timelines, and scenes editable after generation.
- Local and enterprise control — run locally, bring your own model or provider, review permissions and execution, and connect organization services only when a team needs them.
- macOS: open the
.dmg, then drag iPolloWork into Applications. - Windows: run the
.exeinstaller. A locally built, unsigned installer may trigger Microsoft Defender SmartScreen.

FAQ
What is the relationship between deepseek-idesign and the iPolloWork main project?
deepseek-idesign is a Design sub-plugin separately built and released by iPolloWork for DeepSeek Harness (package.json name is deepseek-idesign). It only contains browser resources required for the Design view, will not download or launch the iPolloWork desktop client, nor will it install the two independent plugins PPT (deepseek-ippt) and Video (deepseek-ivideo).
Where are design files saved?
Files are directly written to the design/
Will it include PPT or Video features after installation?
No. Design templates only show templates with surface=design and category not being slides (src/index.ts:132-135). Slide templates are provided by the separate deepseek-ippt, and Video Studio is provided by deepseek-ivideo. The three project directories are isolated from each other.
Will Ask AI automatically send messages?
No. Ask AI only organizes the current elements, file paths, styles, and modification requirements into a conversation draft and fills it into the input box (src/client.tsx:32-43). It is manually sent by the user after confirmation, avoiding uncontrollable changes caused by AI automatically submitting.
Will multiple people editing simultaneously overwrite each other's work?
No. Writes include baseUpdatedAt version checking (studio-host/src/http.ts:161-163). If the file has been modified since last loading, it returns a 409 conflict prompt for the user to reload, and achieves atomic replacement through temporary file + rename.
Why is there no publish to production environment feature?
The publishing capability of this plugin is explicitly disabled. The studio frontend's callStorage interface returns "Publishing is owned by iPolloWork and is disabled in the DeepSeek Harness host" (studio/src/deepseek-client.ts:76-80). DesignPanel also sets publish to false (studio/src/main.tsx:38).
How to uninstall?
Run dsh plugin --profile web remove deepseek-idesign. After deletion, the Design view will disappear from the conversation interface, and the files in the workspace's design/ directory will not be automatically deleted.
