Key points
- One workbench across agent engines — use Codex, DeepSeek Harness, OpenCode, and future runtimes without rebuilding the project experience around each engine.
- One editable production loop — move from code to documents, websites, presentations, design, and video while keeping text, images, layouts, timelines, and scenes editable after generation.
- Local and enterprise control — run locally, bring your own model or provider, review permissions and execution, and connect organization services only when a team needs them.
- macOS: open the
.dmg, then drag iPolloWork into Applications. - Windows: run the
.exeinstaller. A locally built, unsigned installer may trigger Microsoft Defender SmartScreen.

FAQ
What is the relationship between deepseek-ivideo and the iPolloWork main project?
deepseek-ivideo is a separate Video sub-plugin released by iPolloWork for DeepSeek Harness (package.json name is deepseek-ivideo). It only carries the browser resources required for the Video view, and will not download or launch the iPolloWork desktop client, nor will it force the installation of the two independent plugins: Design (deepseek-idesign) and PPT (deepseek-ippt).
Where are video projects saved?
They are written directly to the video/
Will Design or PPT views be automatically included after installation?
No. This plugin only allows templates where surface === "video" and category === "video" (src/index.ts:61-64). Design and PPT views require separate installation of deepseek-idesign and deepseek-ippt.
Will Ask AI automatically send messages?
No. Ask AI only organizes the file path, positioning, text, assets, and style information of the video project or selected elements into a conversation draft and fills it into the input box (src/client.tsx:20-30), which is then manually sent by the user after confirmation.
Will simultaneous editing by multiple people overwrite each other's work?
No. Video file writing goes through studio-host's writeStudioText, with baseUpdatedAt version checking (studio-host/src/http.ts:161-163). If a file has been modified since last loading, it returns a 409 conflict prompt and uses temporary files + rename for atomic replacement.
Why doesn't the first version have Voice Cloning and Design System drawer?
In the first version, the voice and designSystem feature switches are explicitly turned off in Studio (studio/src/main.tsx:48-54), and the branding title is fixed as iVideo by iPolloWork; these two items are global capabilities of the iPolloWork main project and are not exposed to the DeepSeek Harness host in the current version.
How are video projects saved and previewed in Studio?
Each session corresponds to a HyperFrames runtime process, running on a local port hashed from the sessionId (port range 3100-3900, packages/types/src/hyperframes-project.ts:1-8 / src/runtime.ts:259-261). The iframe is started detached and mounted with preview-owner-guard when process.platform is not win32; all leases are automatically reclaimed after 60 seconds (src/runtime.ts:19, 158, 405-410).
How to uninstall?
Run dsh plugin --profile web remove deepseek-ivideo. After uninstallation, the Video view will disappear from the conversation tab bar, and the video/
