Key points
- Image input for Vision-capable models (sent in the official wire format via the dsh attachment service); text-only models refuse images loudly (
UNSUPPORTED_CONTENT) rather than dropping them. -

MODEL_NOT_IN_PLAN(403) — the model isn't in your plan. Pick an open-weight model or upgrade; the error names the model and links the docs.- A reasoning model returns no visible text on short requests — it consumes output tokens on reasoning first; a small
maxTokenscan be exhausted before visible text. Normal. allowBuildserrors ondsh plugin addfrom git — copy the exact package key pnpm printed intopnpm-workspace.yamland re-run (see Install).

FAQ
Does this plugin require an API key?
The model directory can be browsed without a key, but sending requests and viewing account usage require a valid Command Code API key. The plugin first checks direct configuration, then resolves through DSH credential service; only when no credential service is available does it read the startup environment, finally falling back to the official CLI login file.
Does it support image input?
Supported, but only for source-registered Vision models, and requires DSH attachment service. Text models or missing attachment service will explicitly reject image requests.
Why are some models missing from the model list?
By default, models beyond the subscription tier are hidden based on account subscription plan; if billing query fails, plan is unknown, or on-demand balance exists, display is unlocked. You can also turn off the 'Hide out-of-plan models' option, but the server will still make the final judgment on actual permissions.
What should I do when requests interrupt during long thinking?
The plugin defaults to waiting 60 seconds for the first byte and allows 300 seconds of streaming idle time. If the network is slow or the model outputs for a long time, you can increase the corresponding timeout in the settings page; transmission failures, rate limiting, and some server-side errors will use the DSH default retry strategy.
Is stop sequence supported?
Not supported, because the Command Code request format has no corresponding field. Requests with stop sequences will return an unsupported option error, rather than being silently ignored.
Will the API key be deleted after uninstallation?
No. Uninstalling only removes the plugin package and its configuration layer; keys in the DSH credential store and ~/.commandcode/auth.json will be preserved.
