FAQ

Do edit, regenerate, and retry operations rewrite the original session?

No. The plugin never rewrites Session events in-place. The original session is completely preserved as an immutable append-only log, and each operation creates a new session version branched from before the target turn.

What's the difference between truncate and preserve cascade strategies?

Truncate only re-executes the target input in the new branched version and discards the old subsequent content; Preserve also carries over the unexecuted user inputs after the target into the new branch, re-running the subsequent turn toolchain in order.

Do undo and redo actually delete events?

No. Each operation appends an effect/inverse pair event. Undo merely switches along the inverse chain to an older version that still exists; the branch that was switched away remains in the version tree and can be switched back to.

What content can be edited?
